Ndiritu Muriithi – Governor, Laikipia County
Ndiritu Muriithi is an economist and financial markets expert with over 24 years’ experience in leadership and management in Kenya, South Africa, Canada and Australia. Mr. Muriithi has spearheaded numerous financial market strengthening initiatives across African countries covering establishment of credit sharing and scoring institutions, improved bond market function, expansion of mortgage markets, and even growth of women-owned enterprises. He was primarily involved in the design and implementation of these programs and contributed substantively to the development of financial markets that provide required services to many nations.
Beyond his work in financial markets, Mr. Ndiritu Muriithi previously served as Assistant Minister for Industrialization for five (5) years and drove reforms to improve the environment for doing business, and improving incentives to promote investments.
He was also involved in the development of policy and law to finance and economics such as legislation governing establishment of credit bureau, interest rates, taxation and other fiscal measures.
Specifically, Mr. Muriithi contributed to legislative frameworks for banking and small businesses including successfully advocating for amendments to the Banking Act in 2006, to allow for credit reporting

Robert Marete – General Manager, NCBA Leasing LLP
Robert is a leasing expert with over 15 years’ experience in the leasing industry. He is the General Manager – NCBA Leasing LLP since April 2016. Previously he worked for Toyota Group Leasing subsidiary Tsusho Capital as a Business Development Manager.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics and Mathematics from University of Nairobi.
Johan Taljaard – Executive Director, RentWorks East Africa Limited
Prior to his appointment in Kenya in January 2012, Johan has spent 12 years within the RentWorks group. His roles at the RentWorks Group included CFO, Risk Manager, Director working in the Mauritius, India, South African and Kenya businesses within the Group.
He is a qualified accountant and Member of Chartered institute of Management Accountants with nearly 30 years financial and 21+ years Leasing experience. He also serves on financial committees and as Director of LAK.
Gilbert Odadi – Managing Director, Gaptech Solutions Limited
I am a holder of Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Majored in use of IT to improve efficiency in Supply Chain) from the University of Nairobi and I am also a BSC IT graduate from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I have over 12 years’ experience in asset tracking and management as well as, Logistics and Security management.
I am the Managing Director for Gaptech Solutions Ltd. Prior to this assignment, I worked as Logistics, Security and IT manager in various organizations including Plan International, Food for the Hungry, Population Services International, Orchid Detection Systems and Africa Land computers.
