The Lease Convention

In conjunction with Toyota Kenya Ltd., The Leasing Association of Kenya is holding a two day “Lease Convention 2014: Leasing- The Game Changer” on the 27th & 28th of May 2014 at the Kenya School of Monetary studies.
This will be the first convention of its kind in Kenya and comes at a time when the government is committed to encouraging the county governments to stimulate development in their counties.
The Conventions main objectives are:
- Enhance capital formation for both public and private sector
- Job creation via deepening of financial transactions to support various sector growth initiatives in: Education, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Health, Energy and the Public sector
The Convention program will be broken into two sessions
- Breakout sessions:
Change management experts who will share their skill sets in respect to public and government engagement.
- Show case local and international case studies for both private and public sector.
- Share case studies that will enable businesses (equipment vendors especially) to preserve precious cash reserves; upgrade assets more frequently through the understanding of leasing contracts.
- Training sessions:
Knowledgeable Facilitators will give basic training, presentation and expedite talks during the Convention in conjunction with prominent key note speakers.
- Provide basic training on technical aspects of managing/developing leases and the leasing industry.
The target audience will include and not be limited to:
- Treasury and all other government Ministries
- Delegates from the members of LAK
- County government officials
- Regulators
- Industry associations
- Equipment vendors
- Development Partners
